Job Description

To reinforce the team working for an European Institution in Brussels we are looking for a:

Digital Workplace, Office Automation and Mobile Computing Expert


Nature of tasks

  • Installation and configuration of PC, Mac and mobile devices hardware
  • Installation and configuration of software components in the PC, Mac configuration or mobile devices
  • Administration of the local environment, directly related to the PC or mobile devices environment
  • Participating in defining and documenting configuration of the PC or mobile devices environment
  • Documenting operational support procedure
  • Drafting technical content for knowledge database
  • Security administration and monitoring, in adherence to the security rules imposed by the Parliament's central security service (complemented by local rules where needed). This task includes anti-virus protection.
  • Software asset management
  • Licence management

Profile

Digital Workplace, Office Automation and Mobile Computing Expert

General
  • Highly autonomous and IT skilled
Analysis and technical skills
  • Very good skills in Office Automation (MS Windows, Mac OS, MS office, productivity applications), digital workplace and mobile computing
  • Experience in programming languages and scripting
  • ITIL V3 Foundation Certified (or the certification must be passed within 3 months after the start of the contract)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
Language and communication skills
  • Fluent in both English/French both written and oral
  • Very good communication skills
